Benahavís is located in a valley between hills, very close to Marbella. It is easily accessible from San Pedro de Alcántara, Puerto Banús, Marbella, and Estepona. Three rivers from the Serranía de Ronda flow through the municipality and into the Mediterranean: the Guadalmina, the Guadalmansa, and the Gaudaiza rivers.
